ARCH-rivals Darley and Bacchus Marsh will square off in the Ballarat Football League elimination final this weekend after the Devils secured sixth place with victory against Melton South at the weekend.

Darley started a warm favourite to hold sixth place given its game and percentage gap on the Panthers, and there was no slip-up as the Devils closed out a 51-32 win.

Darley's eight-win, eight-loss record was more than 36 per cent behind fifth-placed Ballarat on the same record and two games ahead of seventh-placed Melton South.

Bacchus Marsh enjoyed the bye and held third place by more than 14per cent with 12 wins and four losses from Redan who finished fourth with the same record. Redan defeated Sebastopol 83-22 in the last round, while in other results Melton downed Sunbury 50-29, East Point 81 defeated North Ballarat City 19 and Lake Wendouree 76 defeated Ballarat 36.

The final ladder: Lake Wendouree 72, East Point 68, Bacchus Marsh 56 (195per cent), Redan 56 (181), Ballarat 40 (117), Darley 40 (80), Melton South 32, Melton 28, Sebastopol 20 (52), Sunbury 20 (42), North Ballarat City 8.
