Driven by Ararat’s Mick Bellman, Dillon Daphne settled five back in the moving line from gate two on the second line.
Gaining a lovely ride home three wide from the bell following Kellalac ahead of her, Dillon Daphne when taken wide on the home turn finished her race off well to defeat a game Kellalac and Buddy Rippa along the sprint lane after trailing the pole line leader Chloe Su.

Coimadai’s Adam Kelly combined with Gavin Lang to land the Grampians Excavations 3-Y-0 Pace over 2175 metres at Stawell with Our Sir Vancelot/Mindpower gelding Smooth Freddy, leading throughout from gate three in accounting for Isabelle Delacour which trailed in a rate of 2-02.8, with the heavily supported favourite Scarred third after racing in the open for the final circuit.

Lance Justice’s new Kiwi import Mark Dennis made a one act affair of the Cranbourne Trainers Bonanza Pace for C1 class over 2080 metres at Cranbourne on Thursday.
A 3-Y-0 gelded son of Bettors Delight and Twice As Good formerly with Mark Purdon, Mark Dennis despite drawing the outside of the second row ambled along three back in the moving line.
Sent forward three wide at the bell, Mark Dennis although wide for the rest of the journey led on the final bend before coasting to the wire in advance of Bio Gold and Iamnotabindi in a rate of 2-00.6.

Coimadai based Graeme Whittle has enjoyed plenty of success in the sport over a long period of time and was victorious with 6-Y-0 Sundon/My Girl Milly mare My Girl Sunny in the Dunn’s Transport Trotters Handicap for T0 class over 2200 metres at Bray Raceway Ballarat on Thursday.
Driven by Ash Wharton, My Girl Sunny was given every opportunity to figure in the finish one/one from barrier four, trailing Koko De Ville which shadowed the pacemaker Crash Boom Bang.
Easing wide on turning, My Girl Sunny ran home best to score from Rockin Wilma (four wide home turn) and Crash Boom Bang in a rate of 2-06.8, recording her 2nd success in 40 outings.

Driven by son Darren, One Tough Reign led throughout from barrier five in accounting for Wolfgang which trailed using the sprint lane to no avail, with the favourite Leading Lavros third after galloping away and making several moves through the race, eventually parking outside the winner at the bell.
** Darren was also successful at Melton in the evening, winning the Polar Linen Trotters Mobile for T3 to T5 class over 2240 metres aboard Ballarat trainer Alan Wood’s Backas Cobber.
