WSUCCA: Hopes fade for Rockbank

31 Jan, 2012 12:00 AM
ROCKBANK'S hopes of bridging the gap to the ladder leaders in A grade synthetic have been all but dashed after the opening day's play against Charles Sturt University.

Rockbank won the toss and batted on Saturday but was all out for 160 off 42 overs.

Charles Sturt University was 4-131 in reply at stumps.

Altona Sports (38 points), CSU (34), St John's (32) and Rockbank (32) are all entrenched in the top four and battling for the minor premiership.
