BACCHUS Marsh captain Dennis O'Loughlin enjoyed a day out with bat and ball in the Bulls' 71-run win in McIntyre Cup against Romsey at the weekend.

O'Loughlin top-scored with 59 as Bacchus Marsh posted 8-191 off 40 overs before taking 3-19 as the visitors to Maddingley Park were bowled out for 120 in reply.

The win puts Bacchus Marsh third on the ladder with 36 points, behind second-placed Sunbury United on 39 and ahead of fourth-placed Riddell on 33.

In B grade, St Anthonys defeated Bacchus Marsh 2nd XI by 91 runs.
