Dream still alive for Bulls

BACCHUS Marsh remains alive in the Gisborne and District Cricket Association McIntyre Cup finals race after winning the grand final re-match over Gisborne Dragons in a thriller by one wicket.

Set 164 for victory, the brave Bulls passed the total nine down in 56 overs to stay in touch with the top four.

In B grade, Diggers Rest Bulla Village had a clumsy 20-run loss to Sunbury United at the Diggers Reserve Oval.

Expecting to cruise to the 140-run target, the Village was routed for just 119, coughing up top spot to Wallan in the process. St Anthony's was on the end of Wallan's fury in a two-wicket loss at the Greenhill Oval in Wallan.
