Noah set for first day at school

26 Jan, 2010 03:00 AM
NOAH Neumann, 5, of Myrniong, is ready to start primary school next week.

He is enrolled at Myrniong Primary School together with his two older brothers.

Hundreds of dollars has been spent on Noah to be prepared for school, including the costs of a uniform, backpack, stationery and school fees.

Noah's mum Janie said the school costs for Myrniong PS were not as expensive as other schools.

"I don't think education is expensive but if it was cheaper to send Noah to a private school I would.

"But I think Myrniong is a good school with a curriculum and facilities as good as private school.

"The $300 Government donation for families with a prep pupil helps pay for most of the costs but not all."
