HYGIENIST reports have declared Fiskville's CFA training base to be safe for staff, students and visitors.
The reports, made public last Wednesday, identified minor improvements such as sealing a workshop where chemicals are kept, chemical container labelling and erection of speed signs.
A Hazcon hygienist said risk assessments for LPG, diesel and unleaded petrol used on site should also be conducted.
The investigation was initiated after allegations of historic practices linking the college to cancers in CFA members, their families and Fiskville residents more than 30 years ago.
CFA chief executive Mick Bourke said the reports provided reassurance to those who used the facility.
"The health and safety of our people is CFA's highest priority. These reports can give them confidence that Fiskville is safe."
